Summary
Mortenson is seeking an Operator III responsible for operating equipment as directed and specified while adhering to safety regulations.Responsibilities
- Follows prescribed safety regulations
- Maintains assigned area with clear and orderly housekeeping
- Performs routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
- Observes equipment operation for malfunctions
- Follows work plans and pre-task cards
- Operates the following equipment based on project requirements:
- Mini Excavator
- Backhoe
- Trackhoe
- Loader
- Forklift/Telehandler
- Bobcat/Skid-steer
Qualifications
- Equipment certifications as required
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience
- Current driver’s license with necessary endorsements
- Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, and attention to detail
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate equipment independently
- Effective communication and active listening skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
