Solar Laborer I

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Laborer I to prepare, handle, and supply materials for other crafts.

  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Solar panel installation
  • Rigging
  • Racking assembly
  • Torque tube assembly
  • Pile layout
  • General cleanup and clearing of debris

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction preferred
  • Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
  • Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
  • Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs. with assistance if necessary

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $20 - $24 per hour. (Actual range is higher for Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
