Laborer - Solar

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, attend daily toolbox talks.
• Maintain all required PPE and support a strong safety culture on the crew.
• Handle, stage, and prepare steel piles for installation, including rigging, sorting, and material movement.
• Remain vigilant of equipment movement, ground hazards, weather conditions, and changing site conditions.
• Load/unload materials and keep work areas organized.
• Assist in correcting or adjusting piles under supervision when deviations are found.
• Work effectively with Operators, Foremen, QA/QC teams, and fellow union laborers.
• Communicate clearly about hazards, task changes, or quality concerns.
• Will require travel to job sites and overnight.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current OSHA 10 or 30 Certifications preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, a CDL is a plus.
• Construction or outdoor labor experience preferred (solar experience plus).
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work on uneven terrain.

Pay

This is a union position, pay and benefits will be based on the collective bargaining agreement.

Schedule

This role involves hands-on field work, requiring long hours in the outdoor elements. Travel, including overnight stays, is an essential function of this role.
