Solar Engineer - Energy Solutions
About the role
The Energy Solutions division of CMTA is the fastest growing division of our large and growing company. This position will work with a team of engineers to design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery and EV charging systems for various clients of CMTA.
Responsibilities
- Design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery and EV charging systems for various clients of CMTA.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure project success.
- Work closely with clients to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
Requirements
- 0-3+ years of experience.
- Desired Skills:
- Experience with Revit/AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
- Electrical engineering - Ability to develop, read and discuss single line diagrams for PV systems is preferred, but not required.
- Energy (Real Power, Reactive Power & Apparent Power).
- Solar - Knowledge of grid tied PV systems & associated components is preferred, but not required.
- Power Distribution - Knowledge of 3-Phase Power Systems is preferred, but not required.
- Construction - Basic understanding of project management, project flow & deadlines.
- Design - Familiarity with SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius & Other inverter products is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
