Software Developer I, Instructional and Information Technology Services

Under the direction of the Director of Software Development and Solutions and working closely with the Lead of Systems Development and fellow team members, the incumbent will design, implement, and maintain software applications and systems to support the operations of the campus community.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain custom software applications and systems
• Utilize open-source software and extend the functionality of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms such as mobile frameworks and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Design, code, test, install, and upgrade application system software, patches, and fixes
• Monitor and tune system performance
• Establish user access controls
• Define and implement new or modified database tables
• Perform device planning and configuration
• Participate in and perform code reviews
• Provide written documentation of project development and programming code

Requirements

• This is a full-time, non-exempt position leading to permanent status following successful completion of a probationary period

Pay

Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,787 - $6,264 per month (Step 1 - 5). Salary is commensurate with background and experience.
