Software Configuration Management Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end configuration management across various environments
• Maintain Configuration Management Plan and release governance models
• Establish and manage release calendars and readiness criteria
• Cook up release planning across multiple technical teams
• Coordinate release readiness reviews and deployment planning sessions
• Ensure completeness and traceability of release packages before deployment
• Drive continuous improvement of configuration management processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in information systems, computer science, engineering, business, management, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Proven leadership in configuration or change management, deployment coordination, or software baseline management in complex IT programs
• Experience with cross-functional team leadership in release planning, execution, and validation
• Skilled in developing and managing configuration management plans, release procedures, and change control processes
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
• Experience coordinating releases across multiple environments, from development to production
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one prior to start
