Configuration Management Lead

About the role

This position strengthens enterprise IT reliability and accountability by leading end‑to‑end configuration and change management processes that ensure accurate system baselines, controlled change execution, and consistent, audit‑ready configuration information across all networks.

What you'll do

• Provide services for engineering, installation, and O&M of a Configuration Management (CM) system to include a CM Plan outlining processes for detailed recording and updating of information related to hardware and software assets and configurations for all networks
• Enable the control of the IT infrastructure and services by monitoring and maintaining information on resources needed to deliver IT services
• Provide planning, identification, control, status, and verification of configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle
• Establish and maintain the consistency of information regarding the design requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise CIs
• Ensure that the standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient handling of Changes in order to minimize the impact of change-related incidents upon service quality
• Ensure accountability for the daily operation of the Change Management Process while ensuring organizational adherence
• Create and maintain Change Management Policies
• Design, implement, and manage a formal Change Management process
• Manage, coordinate, monitor, and report on change process activities
• Communicate with the relevant parties involved with an approved change to ensure activities are coordinated and carried out according to plan

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree
• 8 to 10 years of related experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• US Citizenship required

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
