About the role

As a Space Vehicle Systems Engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to lead space vehicle systems engineering efforts. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with major acquisition program space systems related change management and configuration management
• 7+ years of experience with Engineering Change Proposal Technical Evaluations and Request for Proposal artifact and Statement of Work (SOW) development
• Experience with large scale satellite and space vehicle acquisition programs
• Ability to be highly motivated, have a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with space vehicle systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing
• Experience with computer tools, including Confluence or Jira
• Experience designing, building, and testing communications antennas, transmitters, or receivers of a payload
• Knowledge of DoD systems engineering, testing, and production policies and practices
• Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• TS/SCI clearance

Pay

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
