Social Workers help patients understand their rights and responsibilities, and guide them in managing the physical, mental, emotional, and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, educating, and collaborating with patients on care planning
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Current or eligible for state licensure, if required
- Meets state-specific requirements (e.g., LCSW and supervision, if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical social work experience, preferably in an ESRD setting
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret safety, operating, and procedure documents
- Effective communication skills with clients and staff
