About the Role
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) independently provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis, treatment/interventions, and advocacy for patients and their support systems. The LCSW incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The LCSW collaborates with patients and their support systems to develop and implement evidence-informed, person-centered care plans across the care continuum in collaboration with the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT).
The CSWA Social Worker, under direct and continuous supervision, provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis, treatment/interventions, and advocacy for patients and their support systems. The CSWA incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change and collaborates with patients and their support systems to develop and implement evidence-informed, person-centered care plans in collaboration with the Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Team (IDT).
Social Workers work closely with various departments throughout Providence Health & Services (PHS) and serve all inpatient or outpatient populations. Duties are performed in a manner that respects patient self-determination, reduces health disparities/barriers to care, and adheres to the NASW code of ethics, Standards of Practice (SOP), and mission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessments.
- Develop and implement evidence-informed, person-centered care plans.
- Collaborate with Inter/Multi-Disciplinary Teams (IDT).
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, interventions, and advocacy for patients and their support systems.
- Adhere to the NASW code of ethics and Standards of Practice (SOP).
- Promote patient self-determination and reduce health disparities/barriers to care.
Requirements
Social Worker LCSW
- Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School of Social Work, or from a school in candidacy status by the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Oregon Clinical Social Worker License upon hire or license in states wherever care is delivered.
- 2 years of relevant Social Work experience (may include CSWA experience).
Social Worker MSW
- Master's Degree in Social Work.
- Oregon Clinical Social Work Associate License within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Social Worker LCSW
- 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
Social Worker MSW
- 2 years of clinical work experience within healthcare, hospice, and/or bereavement.
Pay
- Social Worker LCSW: $41.63 - $64.63 per hour (Portland, OR).
- Social Worker MSW: $36.99 - $57.44 per hour (Portland, OR).
These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
