About the Role
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides independent biopsychosocial/spiritual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-informed treatment/interventions for diverse patient populations. They collaborate with patients, support systems, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement person-centered care plans, respecting patient self-determination and reducing health disparities. The role involves working across inpatient and outpatient settings, adhering to NASW ethics and standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Advocate for patients and support systems throughout the care continuum.
- Work closely with various hospital departments to coordinate services.
- Respect patient autonomy and promote equitable access to care.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited or candidacy CSWE program.
- State licensure as an independent clinical social worker in Oregon, Washington, or relevant states.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant social work experience.
- Strong understanding of behavioral change, neurobiology, and lifespan development theories.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and ethical practice skills.
