Social Worker 3 LCSW Child Psychiatry Family Center

Responsibilities

• Serves as the case manager for assigned patients.
• Counsels patients and families on living wills and durable power of attorney.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary assessment process.
• Completes psychosocial assessments and develops and implements patient treatment plans.
• Manages crisis situations and provides 24-hour on-call coverage.
• Documents patient interactions, activities, and treatment plans.
• Participates in treatment team conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provides counseling to staff and facilitates support groups.
• Assists in the development of the interdisciplinary treatment plan.
• Engages in community outreach services as an educational resource.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Social Workers.
• Some previous experience in social work.
• Completed Crisis Intervention Training within 90 days of employment.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
