Summary

The Marketing Specialist - Social Media & Influencer Marketing is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of social media campaigns as well as collaborations with influencers to promote the company's products and brand. Duties in this role include creating engaging content, building relationships with influencers, and leveraging social media channels to increase brand awareness and engagement and ultimately achieve the company's marketing goals and sales growth in E-Commerce-Retail.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media & Strategy Implementation: Plan and implement social media strategies and campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement by targeting specific audiences and key market segments.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including written posts, visuals, videos and interactive elements to increase target audience engagement and loyalty.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates and emerging influencer marketing strategies to ensure the company remains competitive and takes innovative approaches.
  • Influencer Partnerships & Collaboration: Identify influencers and content creators and work with them to develop partnerships and create authentic sponsored content that aligns with the brand's values and goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales and creative departments, to align social media activities with overall marketing and business strategies.
  • Analytics & Resource Management: Analyze social media performance metrics and insights to optimize content, campaigns and influencer partnerships by tracking key metrics and return on investment.
  • Effectively manage social media budgets, schedules, and resources to maximize campaign impact and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report social media and influencer marketing trends, successes and opportunities, provide regular updates and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • University degree or undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of initial or extended professional experience in social media, marketing, or content creation.
  • In-depth knowledge of using social media platforms, tools, and analysis tools to develop and implement effective campaigns and maintain community engagement.
  • Experience in identifying and engaging influencers, negotiating partnerships, and measuring the impact of collaborations.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance data, track key metrics, and gain actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of budgeting policies and project management skills to effectively allocate resources and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
  • May use keyboards, telephone, and standard office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
  • Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
