About the role
The Social Media Manager at TrainHeroic is responsible for growing the company's online presence, engaging audiences, and spreading the message through various social media platforms. This role works closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Product Teams to implement social media and advocacy strategies.
Responsibilities
- Create social media campaigns supporting Brand, Growth, and Product marketing strategies.
- Sources and creates original, topical, on-brand content from industry leaders, partners, influencers, and in-house sources.
- Generates creative scripting and storyboarding for producing high-value content.
- Produces compelling visuals, video, audio, copy, and other platform-native content.
- Maintains the TrainHeroic voice, tone, and visual style by ensuring all social media content adheres to brand guidelines.
- Engages with social media influencers, builds influencer marketing strategies, and collaborates with influencers to activate their networks.
- Analyzes social media and advocacy data to gain insights and improve future outcomes.
- Identifies opportunities to engage with potential customers and drive organic engagement and traffic to the marketing website.
- Manages and organizes a robust digital content/asset library using a digital asset management (DAM) system.
- Creates and manages a community of super users through tools like Broadcast Channels, ManyChat, and Close Friends lists.
- Maintains and responds to customer feedback on all social channels.
- Works with internal stakeholders to identify coaches and athletes for testimonials and/or case studies.
- Looks for opportunities for photo or video shoots to fill the content library with non-stock assets.
- Coaches and mentors junior team members involved in social media.
Requirements
- A passion for social media marketing and analytics.
- Minimum 3 years of social media marketing experience.
- Experience using major social media platforms in a business setting.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset.
- Experience using social media analysis tools.
- Experience with social media advertising and brand advocacy programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in short-form video editing and production.
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
- Experience managing and organizing a robust digital content/asset library.
Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of strength and conditioning, fitness, racing, and other hybrid training.
- Experience using TrainHeroic products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
