Social Media Manager (Music Events)

About the role

This position plays a central role in bringing live event brands to life online. You will create social-first content, capture the energy of events, and help maintain momentum before, during, and after each show.

Responsibilities

• Create, film, edit, and publish high-volume social content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies to increase reach, engagement, and ticket conversions.
• Identify emerging trends, viral formats, memes, and audio opportunities, and adapt them quickly for brand use.
• Capture live event content including crowd reactions, performances, backstage moments, and fan experiences.
• Build and manage content calendars across multiple brands, campaigns, and event launches.
• Track analytics and performance metrics to evaluate results and optimize future content.
• Partner with marketing, creative, and event teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely execution.
• Support influencer, creator, and artist partnerships through campaign coordination and content activation.
• Appear on camera when needed for interviews, branded videos, or trend-based content.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing social media for brands, artists, entertainment companies, or media properties.
• Hands-on experience filming, editing, and publishing short-form video using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of content strategy and audience behavior across major social platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong creative instincts and a clear sense of what performs well on current and emerging channels.
• Passion for music, nightlife, events, and digital culture.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Willingness to attend in-person events and travel as needed for content capture.
