Responsibilities
Define and continuously evolve a multi-year, enterprise social media strategy aligned to nVent’s business priorities, growth objectives, and brand positioning
Establish a clear governance model across enterprise, segment, and executive channels, ensuring consistency while enabling scalability
Anticipate digital, cultural, and platform trends, translating them into forward-looking strategies and competitive advantage
Lead integrated campaign planning, ensuring social
Own the end-to-end social media program, setting direction for content ecosystems, channel strategies, and audience engagement frameworks
Architect audience-first strategies grounded in segmentation, customer insight, and social listening intelligence
Oversee enterprise and segment content direction, ensuring a consistent, differentiated voice that supports the broader nVent narrative
Guide adoption of new formats (e.g., short-form video, real-time storytelling) and scalable content models
Serve as a strategic advisor to ELT members, senior leaders and segment marketers, providing guidance on executive visibility, thought leadership, and platform engagement
Translate complex social and reputational dynamics into clear, actionable insights for leadership decision-making
Leverage advanced analytics and social listening tools to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging narratives
Establish enterprise standards for community engagement, escalation protocols, and risk mitigation
Proactively monitor and assess reputational risk across channels; lead social response strategies in coordination with crisis communications
Develop and enforce governance frameworks for sensitive communications (earnings, regulatory disclosures, major announcements)
Lead and direct external agencies and partners, setting clear expectations tied to strategic outcomes
Partner closely with PR, content, integrated marketing, HR, and Investor Relations to build cohesive, multi-channel narratives
Influence cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and maximum amplification of enterprise stories
Foster innovation
Lead the evolution of social capabilities at nVent, including tools, processes, and operating models
Champion responsible use of AI and automation to scale content, insights, and workflows while ensuring governance and quality
Test and scale new approaches across platforms, influencers, and paid social to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
Experience: 7–10+ years in social media, digital marketing, corporate communications, or public relations, with demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level strategy and programs
Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to define long-term vision and translate business objectives into integrated, scalable social strategies
Executive Influence: Experience advising and supporting senior leaders or executives on external presence and communications strategy
Analytical Acumen: Deep expertise in social analytics, listening tools, and performance measurement, with ability to connect insights to business impact
Content & Brand Leadership: Strong editorial judgment and storytelling capabilities with a refined understanding of brand voice and narrative development
Cross-functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across global, matrixed organizations

Pay
$105,000.00 - $195,000.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
