About the role
We’re looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to join our in-house Brand Creative team. Based on-site at our creative headquarters in the vibrant Soho neighborhood, you will play a key role in bringing Jonathan Adler’s brand story to life across social channels and cultivating meaningful engagement with our audience.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day publishing across Jonathan Adler’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Maintain social content calendars and coordinate with Brand Creative and Marketing teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns, launches, events, and brand initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Brand Creative, designers, and marketing leadership to develop and execute social content that reflects the Jonathan Adler brand
- Write, edit, and publish social copy that is on-brand, engaging, and platform appropriate
- Manage community engagement across channels, including responding to comments, direct messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and thoughtful manner
- Monitor social conversations and identify opportunities for engagement, partnership, amplification, and community building
- Support content creation through briefing, shoot coordination, asset management, and social-first recommendations
- Track and report on channel performance, audience growth, and engagement metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Stay informed on platform updates, emerging trends, and evolving best practices across the social media landscape
- Maintain organized archives of social content, assets, and performance reporting
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, publisher, or lifestyle company
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, best practices
- Experience managing content calendars and executing multi-channel publishing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to build and engage online communities
- Hightly organized with exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
- Comfortable collaborating with creative teams and working within established brand guidelines
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with social reporting and performance metrics
- Knowledge of design, interiors, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Basic comfort level with and willingness to learn AI tools and work flows

Pay
The anticipated base salary is $75k-$95k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
