Content Planning & Calendar Ownership

  • Own the planning and execution of the organic social calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Content should be specific to each channel.
  • Build weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with product launches, retail moments, and campaign priorities
  • Translate product science (ex: nano-hydroxyapatite or 5% potassium nitrate) into digestible, scroll-stopping TikTok education without sounding clinical.
  • Ensure consistent posting cadence tied to key business initiatives (new launches, partnerships, limited editions)
  • Optimize captions and creative for platform-specific best practices (TikTok vs Reels vs Shorts)
  • Schedule and publish content across platforms, ensuring accuracy in tagging, links, and formatting
  • Proactively identify gaps in storytelling and propose new content opportunities

Creative Support

  • Edit social assets using Canva (stories, carousels, simple motion graphics, cover images)
  • Absorb and repurpose UGC and creator content for organic use
  • Collaborate with internal creative and influencer teams to ensure assets are optimized for feed
  • Maintain a library of approved social templates and formats

Community Cultivation & Brand Voice

  • Reactive: Respond to every comment and DM with wit and brand-aligned personality.
  • Proactive: Slide into the "right" conversations, seeding Boka into cultural moments before they go viral.
  • Define and execute Boka’s social voice across platforms (premium, approachable, educational, culturally relevant)
  • Respond to comments and DMs in a timely, thoughtful, and brand-aligned tone
  • Engage proactively in relevant conversations to position Boka within culture
  • Identify recurring questions, feedback, and sentiment trends and share insights with internal teams
  • Escalate customer service or sensitive issues if needed

AI-Driven Creation

  • Use AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Jasper, or similar) to streamline production, enhance visuals, and stay ahead of creative trends.

IRL Brand Experiences

  • Support and execute IRL brand activations and community moments to deepen audience connection. Plan and host 3–5 intimate, high-impact events per year for our "Brand Lovers" turning digital followers into real-world advocates.

The "Host" Energy

  • You’re comfortable being on camera and even more comfortable leading a room of people at a brand event.

Self-Starter

  • Since you solely own these channels, you are comfortable taking initiative and running with an idea from brainstorm to post.

Creative Swiss Army Knife

  • You can edit in CapCut or InShot with your eyes closed and have an eye for lighting and framing.

Experience

  • 4–6 years in social media management, preferably for a beauty or wellness brand with a cult following.

Personal TikTok or IG Following

  • You have a personal TikTok or IG following where you’ve experimented with content.

Boka User

  • You’re already a Boka user and can tell us why Ela Mint is superior.

KPIs

  • Growth in follower count across TikTok and Instagram
  • Engagement rate (likes, comments, saves, shares)
  • Content performance improvements over time (views, watch time, saves)
  • Community sentiment and quality of interactions
  • Contribution to broader marketing goals through organic social performance
  • Quantifiable lift in "Brand Love" and sentiment via our awareness tracker (fielded every 4 - 6 months)

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $100-110K per year. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location.
