Social Media and Communications Strategist
Hippocratic AI is the leading generative AI company in healthcare, building the only system capable of safe, autonomous, clinical conversations with patients. Our Polaris constellation of LLMs achieves over 99.9% accuracy, and we’re backed by $404M in funding from top healthcare and AI investors including Avenir Growth, CapitalG, General Catalyst, a16z, and Kleiner Perkins.
About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, ambitious Social Media and Communications Strategist to own and run our entire social stack, using AI Agents and best-of-class technology to deliver sharp, professional content that resonates. This role offers real surface area: you'll build our TikTok presence from zero, create compelling content for LinkedIn, support CEO and executive voice, set the cadence on X, and ensure every product launch, customer win, and headline lands on the right channels.
You'll work hand-in-hand with our Chief Communications Officer and collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success, and design to bring the best stories at Hippocratic AI into the feed. If you live on social, have great taste, can create content quickly, are metrics-driven, and want to shape the voice of one of the most exciting companies in AI and healthcare, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Build the right agent team to support cross-functional social media, leveraging AI to focus on creativity and judgment.
- Run the social calendar: Own a unified content calendar across LinkedIn (CEO + company), TikTok, and X. Plan ahead for product launches, marketing moments, conferences, and earned-media hits while staying agile for real-time engagement.
- Partner with the CCOs to support CEO presence: Create CEO-tone content, manage publishing cadence, monitor comments, and surface engagement opportunities.
- Launch and grow our TikTok: Build Hippocratic AI’s TikTok presence from the ground up, developing a content franchise, shooting and editing short-form video, and partnering with creators, clinicians, and other voices.
- Manage company LinkedIn and X: Drive consistent posting on LinkedIn and maintain a smart, light touch on X. Monitor all channels for relevant conversations and engage in real time.
- Source stories from across the company: Partner with sales, customer success, and clinical teams to extract and develop content from customer wins, use cases, product milestones, and team highlights.
- Work with influencers and external voices: Identify, outreach, and coordinate with creators, clinicians, patient advocates, and industry voices to amplify Hippocratic AI’s story.
- Create on-brand content: Design graphics in Canva and Figma, edit video natively or with tools, and write copy that aligns with our voice. Coordinate with our lead designer for brand consistency.
- Support broader comms and marketing: Assist in drafting sales documents, one-pagers, and supporting content. Pitch in on light design and editing for comms and marketing teams as needed.
- Measure and report: Track performance across channels, analyze what works, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of professional social media and communications experience in a corporate environment, AI startup, or marketing/communications agency.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Native fluency in LinkedIn, TikTok, and X—understanding the unwritten rules of each platform and recognizing top-performing accounts.
- Strong writing skills and a keen sense of voice, particularly the distinction between CEO and brand messaging.
- Comfort designing in Canva or Figma; ability to produce clean graphics, social tiles, or templates independently.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude/Claude Code or OpenAI to build skills or agents for content creation.
- Ability to shoot and edit short-form video on mobile or with lightweight editing tools.
- Strong project management instincts: ability to run a calendar, juggle stakeholders, and meet tight deadlines.
- A bias toward action and sound judgment—moving fast on trends without compromising brand safety.
- Experience with social listening and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Brandwatch, native analytics).
- Genuine interest in healthcare, AI, or both—curiosity is essential, expertise is not.
Nice to Have
- Experience launching a TikTok or short-form channel from scratch.
- Existing relationships with healthcare creators, clinician influencers, or AI commentators.
- Past experience supporting an executive’s personal brand.
- Familiarity with regulated or healthcare-adjacent communications.
