About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Management Manager (LO) in Consumer Business Lending to provide coverage for Relationship Managers. The role focuses on client relationship management, client experience, acquisition of new clients, deepening existing relationships, and risk management for Business clients.

The LO will promote business growth by implementing strategies to increase revenue through onboarding new clients, deepening relationships with existing clients, and retaining existing credit or deposit balances within an assigned territory. They will identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development. The LO will make decisions and resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of their team to meet business objectives. They will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers; interact directly with clients, represent the company externally, and lead a team of individuals to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo's business objectives.

The LO will coach and manage a team with low to moderate complexity and risk to offer the full suite and digital solutions to meet clients' needs. They will partner with Strategy, Sales, and Product partners to provide vision and leadership, leveraging market data and expertise on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of solutions more effectively. They will establish relationships with Wells Fargo partners across the assigned territory to develop partnership agreements that better meet clients' needs. They will manage allocation of people and financial resources for functional areas and mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Job Expectations

  • Position will be responsible for visiting business banking employees, customers, and prospects within an assigned market/geography.
  • The role requires an onsite presence at the location listed below.
  • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies.

Pay Range

$131,000.00 - $224,000.00
