Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN Autumn Lake at Ballenger Creek | Frederick, MD $55–$60/hour | PRN Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide PRN services at Autumn Lake at Ballenger Creek. Help skilled nursing residents communicate their needs, strengthen cognitive skills for daily routines, and address swallowing difficulties through individualized assessment and treatment. What You'll Do Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to determine rehabilitation needs.Create treatment plans that reflect residents' clinical findings, personal goals, and daily care demands.Provide interventions for communication, memory, problem-solving, and safe swallowing as clinically indicated.Train residents, families, and staff in communication strategies and techniques that support carryover outside therapy.Coordinate swallowing recommendations with nursing and dietary staff, monitoring tolerance and reporting concerns.Document services, reassess progress, and contribute to interdisciplinary care and discharge planning. Qualifications Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license.Ability to assess and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an adult population.Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication skills.Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.
