Slot Technician (Full Time) - $20/Hour

Essential Functions

• Analyze and respond to a variety of customer service-related issues.
• Performs repairs and maintenance of component-level electronic circuitry in gaming devices.
• Responsible for the installation and removal of gaming devices.
• Maintains inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
• Maintains and calibrates currency validators, executes machine moves, game conversions, installations, and floor upgrade of current ticket-in ticket out products.
• Investigates and verifies any ticket issues.
• Clears coin jams and bill validator jams.
• Performs hopper tests.
• Assists in game conversions and firmware upgrades.
• Performs day-to-day preventative maintenance of slot machines.

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Attend seminars when needed.

Education And /Or Experience Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have electronic background or minimum two years’ experience in slot operations.
• Must have two (2) or more years’ experience in the Gaming Industry or an equivalent customer service environment.

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
• Prior experience in the Gaming industry is strongly preferred.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Team Leadership and motivational skills.
• Electronics at circuit board level.
• Technical experience and training with slots.
• Electronic and computer programming.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $15 - $20
