Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of slot machines, slot systems, and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.
- Diagnose and repair all technical problems associated with slot machines and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on all slot machines and related equipment per manufacturer's specifications.
- Diagnose and repair all technical problems associated with ACSC slot system and the central control computer server system.
- Install, remove, and modify slot machines and related equipment as directed, including full preparation of slot machines for play.
- Generate computer reports relating to slot performance and maintenance, as required.
- Aid in resolving guest service issues and inquiries.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s/Technical Degree in a technical or related field preferred; 1-2 years of experience in a technical or computer related field or prior experience with slot machines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
- Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.
- Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
- Must have the ability to write reports.
- Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
- Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must have the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- Intermediate computer knowledge; competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must qualify for any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Qualifications
- Walking 25% of the time.
- Standing 25% of the time.
- Bending and lifting 50% of the time.
- Lifting/moving maximum of 75 lbs.
