Slot Attendant Full Time

About the role

The Slot Attendant position at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City involves implementing and monitoring slot machine operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, and providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Change ticket paper, write up jackpot forms correctly, and fix minor problems with slot machines.
• Be able to read casino glass and pay table information, and recall vital game histories.
• Promote sign-up for the Rockstar Rewards Card, collecting necessary guest information.
• Ensure the overall integrity of daily operations, cleanliness of the casino floor, and contribute to project planning.

Requirements

• Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent and literate in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills.
• Able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
• Develop effective problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment within established policies.
• Respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift 50-75lbs, stand and walk, and move easily around the slot floor as well as the entire property for the entire shift.
