Initial Placement

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities

• Ensures all guest related questions, problems, and requests for service are promptly handled and rectified in a professional, timely manner and in accordance to departmental standards.
• Handles the payment of all manual, hand-paid slot machine jackpots.
• Answers questions related to slot machines as well as general property information.
• Promotes features of the Slot Player's Club and assist in slot promotions, as required.
• Signs up guests into the Slot Player's Club.
• Investigates and resolves issues relating to bill validators and slot gaming vouchers, including troubleshooting of basic bill validator and ticket printer problems.
• Exchanges large bills (currency) for smaller at the request of guests.
• Affords assistance with additional technical and service issues, as required.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on slot machines and related equipment as deemed necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED;
• 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Previous experience in Casino or Hospitality industry preferred;
• The ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests;
• The ability to read and interpret documents, such as manuals;
• The ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests;
• The ability to perform basic math skills;
• The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations;
• The ability to perform basic computer knowledge;
• The ability to qualify for any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Qualifications

• Walking 100% of the time;
• Lifting/moving maximum of 25 lbs.
