Slot Attendant role focused on delivering fast, accurate fills and jackpots, minor machine repairs, and exceptional guest service on the casino floor.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned sections to surprise and delight guests, creating a fun, high-energy environment.
- Celebrate slot wins to enhance players’ perception of luck and build customer loyalty.
- Maintain attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during every guest interaction.
- Communicate slot floor functionality (e.g., Fast Cash – ticket in/ticket out) clearly to guests.
- Respond to service requests (slot dispatch, candle lights, radio calls) while meeting department service standards.
- Verify and countersign hand-paid jackpots.
- Resolve guest complaints using Service Recovery with urgency and empathy.
- Keep slot areas clean, secure, and well-maintained.
- Perform minor repairs and maintain accuracy in a loud, fast-paced environment.
- Manage frequent public interactions and interruptions professionally.
Requirements
- One year of slot floor experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to rapidly and accurately perform mental math (addition, subtraction, multiplication) with large sums.
- Strong understanding of company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Excellent customer relations, communication (written and verbal), and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work any day or shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
- Valid Nevada Gaming License.
Physical Demands
- Continuous standing and walking for 7+ hours per shift.
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and twisting.
- Capable of pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 100 pounds.
- Tolerance for secondary tobacco smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
- Ability to manage stressful situations, frequent interruptions, and peak business demands.
Pay
$12.14 per hour plus tips.
