Slide Dispatcher- RiveChase YMCA

Responsibilities

• Know, understand, and consistently apply safety rules, policies, and guidelines for the pool and aquatics area.
• Know and review all emergency procedures; respond to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures, and complete related reports as required.
• Respond to challenges with possible solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or the state health department code.
• Perform equipment checks and ensure appropriate equipment is available as needed.
• Check the pool for hazardous conditions upon arrival.
• Perform chemical testing when not in a slide dispatcher position, as required, and take appropriate action.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
