Dispatcher

About the role

The Dispatcher plays a pivotal role in our business, serving as the main point of contact with customers and fostering strong client relations. This position includes occasional delivery duties in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers' routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and assign runs to drivers.
• Ensure drivers count money collected and record delivery times on bills.
• Collaborate with Parts Pullers to ensure correct deliveries.
• Assist drivers with route navigation and other job-related challenges.
• Update customers over the phone on the status of their orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Accurately follow written and verbal directions.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Collaborate well with staff and supervisors.
• Open availability, flexibility to work various shifts, and overtime.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance requirements (must be 21 or older).
• Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.
• Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets.

Starting at $16.65/hour (minimum USD).
