Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Skilled Nursing Supervisor (RN), you will help the healthcare team at Bruceville Terrace foster a supportive, collaborative environment so they can meet the needs of residents, families, and physicians while delivering high-quality nursing services in a cost-effective manner.

  • Effectively directs nursing practice and supports the interdisciplinary team process.
  • Creates and maintains a professional environment that promotes recruitment and retention of qualified staff.
  • Plans, directs and supervises nursing and healthcare services while maintaining an appropriate skill mix to provide quality care.
  • Defines job expectations and lines of authority as well as communicating standards of practice and serving as clinical resource.
  • Collaborates effectively with key physicians, nursing, therapy and other ancillary services to manage the care of the patient in the most cost-effective and quality driven manner.
  • Participates effectively in CQI projects.

Required

  • Two (2) years of recent Skilled Nursing experience, with one (1) of the two (2) years in a progressive leadership role
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
