About the Role
Peraton requires UC Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Responsibilities
- Administers the operation of all SOCOM Unified Communications systems and services according to Government policies and procedures.
- Coordinates and implements UC software and hardware upgrades.
- Troubleshoots and resolves UC performance, connectivity, and related UC problems.
- Administers UC security, antivirus, and spam control measures.
- Uses a variety of tools to monitor and troubleshoot the network.
- Works independently and provides administration of UC systems.
- Creates monitoring reports and logs and ensures the functionality of UC systems.
- Documents and maintains UC topologies.
- Resolves ticket requests, works to resolve incidents, and escalates to the engineering team when required.
- Adds Office 365 users and assigns licenses (manually or by using automated tools such as PowerShell scripts).
- Configures settings and policies for Office 365, such as managing USSOCOM's security, compliance, and productivity (password policies, email protection, device management, etc.).
- Maintains the setup of email and other services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams) to meet USSOCOM's needs and enable collaboration and communication.
- Monitors Office 365 and Cisco Jabber usage and troubleshoots issues that arise (monitoring service health, analyzing usage reports, responding to user feedback and support requests).
- Stays up to date with Office 365 and Cisco Jabber updates and new features and evaluates their impact on USSOCOM.
- Manages configuration settings for USSOCOM's use and setup of Cisco Jabber, including installing software/updates, configuring settings, and connecting to USSOCOM's server(s).
- Adds and manages users for Cisco Jabber, including creating user accounts, assigning roles, and configuring user settings.
- Configures chat and calling features for Cisco Jabber to meet USSOCOM's needs (setting up chat rooms, configuring audio and video settings, call forwarding, and voicemail).
- Manages Cisco Jabber contacts and groups to enable collaboration and communication (creating contact lists, adding contacts, and setting up groups).
Requirements
- BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 years of experience.
- DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
- At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating platforms and office applications.
Qualifications (Highly Desired)
- Compliance with DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 441 - Intermediate level or higher. Must be completed by 01Oct26.
Pay
Target salary range: $104,000 - $166,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
