About the role

The Site Systems Analyst provides hardware, software, and telecommunication support for remote and branch offices. This role evaluates technical needs, devises and implements solutions, and performs desktop system installations and upgrades—all in support of JE Dunn’s strategy, vision, and values.

Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on routine matters, provides recommendations to supervisor, and refers exceptions to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams to provide options, packages, and scenarios (internet connection, speed, IT service offerings) and associated costs.
• Collaborate with logistics on digital workstation/kiosk and printer setup at jobsites.
• Gather initial requirements for jobsites and work with providers to build packages that meet budget and financial requirements.
• Initiate ongoing communication with IT and external resources to coordinate installations with internal teams and external service providers, including low-voltage installation.
• Contact service providers (internet, phone, etc.) to build packages, estimate costs, and schedule installations.
• Test final installations to ensure all services and technologies function properly.
• Assist project teams or employees with technology utilization, training, and end-user support.
• Coordinate network connectivity and systems access for other IT systems.
• Monitor and maintain job site IT services throughout the project duration, making adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate with project teams and internet providers to disconnect equipment/services at project completion.
• Travel to jobsites across the U.S. for physical workstation setup, maintenance, and repair of hardware, including workstations, printers, telephone systems, and networking.
• Respond to onsite technical support requests escalated from the internal Help Desk.
• Enter and maintain data records for project sites and branch offices, including circuits, asset inventory, consultants, and vendors.
• Retrieve or coordinate the return of equipment from jobsites to headquarters.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Adapt to and leverage new technology to increase productivity.

Requirements

• Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and listening skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers (PC) and operating systems.
• Familiarity with PC components and associated hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking and telecommunications.
• Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or related field (preferred). In lieu of a degree, relevant experience will be considered.
• 2+ years of help desk or desktop experience (required).
• 2+ years of experience working with ISPs, network setup, and troubleshooting (preferred).

Working Environment

• Ability to work onsite as needed, including at project sites and/or in the office.
• May require extensive travel periods.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
