Systems Analyst

About the role
Join our Margin team within Fidelity Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology group, where we build, enhance and support some of the most critical applications within the brokerage systems. Our team works closely with our product partners, business teams, and other technology stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions that support millions of client transactions. As part of a collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, while contributing to initiatives that improve firm’s margin platform and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities

- Support and enhance critical applications within the brokerage systems
- Contribute to initiatives that improve the firm’s margin platform and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
- 3 plus years of experience as a systems analyst, business systems analyst or in a similar technology role
- Foundational understanding of brokerage and financial services
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of margin systems and margin business processes
- Solid SQL skills with the ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and validate business scenarios
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to gather, analyze and document business and systems requirements
- Experience in creating functional documentation, process flows and test scenarios
- Willingness to learn new technologies, products and business domains
- Working knowledge of margin concepts, including client margin requirements, account balances, buying power and margin calculations
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$127,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
