About the role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to work with cross-functional Agile teams that develop and enhance enterprise technology solutions. This role requires strong analytical, requirements management, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to bridge business needs and technology solutions. This is a full-time, on-site employment opportunity based in the Cary, NC area.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, developers, and QA engineers to understand business and technology requirements.
- Gather, analyze, document, and translate requirements into well-defined user stories, functional requirements, and solution specifications.
- Perform systems analysis for moderate-to-complex software solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions and resolve requirements-related issues.
- Use SQL and API tools to analyze systems, data, and application behavior.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement.
- Identify challenges and roadblocks and collaborate with teams to develop solutions.
- Communicate effectively with technical, business, and management stakeholders.
- Support geographically distributed teams and collaborate across multiple functions.
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of technology/software development experience, including experience working with Scrum teams.
- Professional experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong systems analysis and requirements management skills.
- Experience developing solution requirements and specifications for complex software systems.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience working with REST APIs and API tools such as Postman.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Jira; experience with Jira Align is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,800.00 – $132,400.00.
