Site Strategy Facilities Intern in Taguig City
About the role
This role is categorized as onsite on day shift. The successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
Responsibilities
- To help carry out facilities activities, including site safety tours, regular preventive maintenance of equipment, liaising with the building PMO regarding any facilities concerns, and other tasks assigned by the Facilities Lead
- To help in the design and execution of safety and security programs that align with GM's global and local regulatory requirements
- Present the results of the project to GBS Leadership
- Lead/participate in GBS-wide and GA-wide engagement activities
Requirements
- Candidates must be graduating/3rd year college students of Engineering (Electrical, Civil or Mechanical), with internship as official undergraduate requirement
- Must be willing to extend internship hours if needed and work onsite daily
- Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- KNIME or any similar automation tools preferably trained
- LEAN, Six-sigma trained
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills (i.e. with high confidence to present to top management)

- Leadership skills (e.g. officer in school or community organizations)
- Good in problem solving
- Able to work in a competitive environment
- Can confidently deal with ambiguity and learn on the fly
Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
