Building Grounds Site Supervisor

About the role

The Building Grounds Site Supervisor is responsible for the general cleanliness and appearance of the entire facility. They make continuous checks of the building and grounds, keeping the site leader and zone manager informed of any deficiencies. They submit routine service requests through the work order system (Maximo) for any repairs that are beyond their capability. In case of emergencies, they call the Maintenance work order desk and report issues to the site leader and zone manager. They also maintain communication with the evening custodians regarding the cleanliness and appearance of their areas.

Responsibilities

• Make continuous checks of the building and grounds
• Submit routine service requests through Maximo for repairs beyond their capability
• Call the Maintenance work order desk for emergencies
• Report issues to the site leader and zone manager
• Maintain communication with evening custodians regarding cleanliness and appearance
• Maintain a current city license to operate the boiler and to maintain the swimming pool if applicable

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Computer skills and ability to communicate professionally (verbal and written)
• One year supervisory experience
• Previous experience as a custodian
• Clear understanding of different cleaning products and equipment
• City license to operate boiler and maintain swimming pool if applicable

Qualifications

• Able or willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Bilingual in Spanish (a plus)
