Grounds Supervisor

About the role

The Grounds and Landscape Lead is responsible for overseeing all landscaping and grounds maintenance activities at our facility. This includes planning, implementing, and managing the upkeep of the outdoor spaces to ensure they are safe, aesthetically pleasing, and in compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of grounds and landscape maintenance team
• Develop and implement landscaping plans and schedules
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding landscaping and safety
• Manage inventory and procurement of materials and equipment
• Coordinate with other departments to address any issues related to landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Assist in budgeting and financial management for landscaping and grounds projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in grounds and landscape management
• Experience with landscape design and construction
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to landscaping and safety
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with landscaping software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Schedule
