Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all aspects of the security function on-site including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for Allied Universal® personnel.
  • Maintenance of contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel.
  • Regular inspection of security personnel and their job performance.
  • Positive and negative personnel actions recommendations for security personnel.
  • Productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
  • Physical security surveys and post orders recommendations.
  • Disciplinary action/commendation decisions recommendations for security personnel.
  • Emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
  • Direction and instruction to subordinates regarding their duties.
  • Response to client requests.

Qualifications (must Have)

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
  • Possession of one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard; Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets.
  • One year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry.
  • A minimum of one year of experience.
  • An associate's degree or higher in any discipline.
  • Aged 18 or older, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed).
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to research, investigate, compile information, and mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to write informatively, clearly, and accurately.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail.
