Site Project Manager - Warehouse Automation
The Site Project Manager - Warehouse Automation supports on-site execution of material handling and automation system installations in our Distribution Centers across the US. Working under the guidance of a Sr. Site Manager or the Real Estate & Facilities (RE&F) Sr. Project Manager, this role assists with daily field activities to ensure safe, organized, and quality-focused project delivery while gaining exposure to construction, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
- Support daily on-site installation, integration, commissioning, and testing activities for automation and material handling systems.
- Cordination of subcontractors, vendors, and owner-furnished equipment in accordance with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and schedules.
- Support on-site communication with general contractors, trade partners, inspectors, and internal team members.
- Coverage of work sequencing, labor planning, and short-term look-ahead scheduling.
- Verification of installations aligning with manufacturer requirements, engineering standards, and approved submittals under supervision.
- Management of site logistics including material deliveries, staging areas, and installation readiness.
- Tracking inspections, deficiencies, punch-list items, and support for closeout activities.
- Review and contribution to daily field reports related to progress, productivity, and quality.
- Escalation of site risks, safety concerns, and field issues to the Senior Site Manager or RE&F Sr. Project Manager.
- Aid in RFIs, design clarifications, and constructability issue documentation.
- Support schedule recovery efforts and milestone tracking.
- Participation in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in material handling systems, industrial construction, automation, or related fields.
- Experience supporting subcontractor crews on active construction or retrofit projects.
- Basic knowledge of conveyors, sortation, racking, mezzanines, robotics interfaces, or controls systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction and equipment drawings.
- Understanding construction means, methods, and site logistics.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of job-site safety practices; OSHA 30 preferred.
- Proficiency with basic field documentation and reporting tools.
- Adaptable and eager to grow in high-accountability environments.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required (up to 80%).
- Flexibility to work extended hours or occasional Saturdays to support key milestones.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $8,233.34 - $13,175.00 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
