About the role
The Site of Care, Area Lead role is focused on assessing, planning, and executing client programs to support administration options for a specific product. This role involves engaging with sites of care across multiple states, including Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Systematically gather deep account intelligence for home infusion and clinic targets
- Characterize outpatient options and landscapes in pre-specified geographies
- Provide detailed information about the product and associated clinical procedures to SOC staff, collaborating with Medical Affairs and other internal stakeholders
- Evaluate SOC interest and capability in administering the product
- Identify gaps and develop strategies to address these gaps
- Provide SOC staff with education on product-specific coding and billing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SOCs regarding internal sales, patient support services, and reimbursement/access functions
- Stay informed on health care issues, customer trends, and best practices to build credibility beyond the product and therapeutic areas
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Clinical, or Science discipline preferred, with an advanced clinical or scientific degree (e.g., RN, PharmD, MPH) or prior clinical experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the pharma/medical industry or home infusion/clinic sector, including experience with infused therapies
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with account management in oncology, hematology, or rare disease spaces, including experience with infused products
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with market access/site of care customer segments and reimbursement (commercial and government payers, billing/coding), with a preference for experience in hematology or oncology reimbursement
- Experience with identifying and evaluating available SOCs in various infusion service areas such as home infusion service providers, national and regional infusion service providers, hospital outpatient and infusion centers, and individual buy-and-bill physician office practices
- Recent launch experience with infused products preferred
- Requires approximately 50% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments
Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 - $160,000. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
