Role Summary
The Facilities Site Lead will assist with the maintenance and support of all building-related functions and provide input to the Site Head for expansion or modification needs for the facilities. The Facilities Site Lead will also work with outside contractors to support service and repair projects within the facility as needed. The Facilities Site Lead is integral in ensuring that regulatory compliance is met by maintaining the building equipment and Environmental Management Systems.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, boilers), electrical (lighting, generators), security and temperature control systems, and environmental management system (EMS).
- Develop and maintain the budget for facilities in coordination with the Site Lead.
- Maintain facilities ticketing system and coordinate scheduling of projects to be completed.
- Perform duties related to preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures.
- Aid in the identification of potential safety hazards within the building and coordinate the remediation of such hazards with the Safety Officer to ensure a safe environment.
- With guidance from the Site Head, ensure that major projects performed at the building are properly planned, executed, and completed safely in a timely manner.
- Oversee the activities of contractors working within the building either as representatives of the building itself or tenants operating within the building.
- Understand and ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines as they relate to the operation of the building's infrastructure. Alert the Site Head of any building discrepancies.
- Maintain all infrastructure and compliance documentation for the building including documentation mandated for the purpose of maintaining regulatory compliance with Federal, State, or Local law.
- Other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
- Associate degree or 2 years of building maintenance experience preferred.
- Must have established mechanical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
- Distinctive qualifications (5-7 bullet points) that are necessary for an individual to be successful in the role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office core applications and the ability to learn and use additional applications.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
