About the role
The Site of Care, Area Lead role is focused on assessing, planning, and executing client programs to support administration options for a specific product. This role involves working with sites of care in designated regions including Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze deep account intelligence for home infusion and clinic targets
- Characterize outpatient options and the healthcare landscape in pre-specified geographies
- Provide comprehensive information about the product and associated clinical procedures to SOC staff, collaborating with Medical Affairs and other internal stakeholders
- Evaluate SOC interest and capability in administering the product, identifying gaps and developing strategies to address them
- Identify and address clinical, operational, and economic barriers to product administration, and develop action plans to overcome these challenges
- Offer education on product-specific coding and billing to SOC staff
- Act as the primary point of contact for SOC inquiries, working closely with internal sales, patient support services, and reimbursement/access functions
- Stay informed on health care issues, customer trends, and best practices to build credibility across therapeutic areas
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Clinical, or Science discipline, with an advanced clinical or scientific degree (e.g., RN, PharmD, MPH) or relevant clinical experience preferred
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in the pharma/medical industry or home infusion/clinic sector, including experience with infused therapies
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in account management within oncology, hematology, or rare disease spaces, and with reimbursement processes for infused products
- Prior experience with identifying and evaluating available SOCs in various infusion service areas, such as home infusion service providers, national and regional infusion service providers, hospital outpatient centers, and individual physician practices
- Recent launch experience with infused products is preferred
- Requires approximately 50% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments
Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $160,000, with actual salary varying based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Additional benefits include a competitive compensation package, health benefits, a company match for 401k, flexible PTO, and sick time.
