About the role

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Site Leadership Team Coordinator to join our North American Disaster Relief team in North Wilkesboro, NC. In this role, you will support the North American Disaster Relief and Rebuild departments by serving in the daily functions of coordination and relationship-building with the Site Leadership Team (SLT).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Assist with the day-to-day SLT activity, including correspondence, deployment reports, database management, deployment logistics, and SLT Facebook updates.
  • Communicate up-to-date deployment information to the SLT through regular email, text alerts, Facebook, and phone calls, and oversee the SLT Email Inbox.
  • Support the SLT team with deployment scheduling calls, recruitment process calls, travel arrangements, and other follow-up with SLT as needed.
  • Assist the Fleet Services team with upkeep and submission of SLT licenses, Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR), and related paperwork.
  • Support the Assistant Director of Volunteer Relations and the SLT Manager with special projects as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned that are not specifically identified in the job description.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibit public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Able to effectively communicate with individuals from a wide range of demographics.
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and complete complex jobs under deadline pressure.
  • Able to work well independently or as part of a team.
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required.
  • Fluency in English.
