Site Coordinator, Upward Bound
Job Responsibilities
- Aid with student/parent recruitment and outreach
- Schedule & facilitate project support services and activities at the partner school
- Clock in and out students and provide direct support (i.e.- SEIJ academic/ college & career planning)
- Coordinate program support with partners and SJU departments
- Monitor student attendance & provide direct support
- Update project participants' files and the collection of project services data
- Serve project participants in developing and achieving skill areas identified in his/her PLP
- Support in project reporting and capturing of required data
- Engage regularly in various partner school committee meetings
- Participate in training and supervision meetings as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, education, psychology, social work, or other relevant discipline
- At least three years of experience in working with disadvantaged student populations in a secondary or higher education setting
- Experience in academic advising, tutoring, counseling, teaching, or student affairs; computer proficiency
- Knowledge of the college application process and financial aid policies and regulations
Pay
The annual salary for this position is $66,300.
