Site Coordinator
Rocky Mount, North Carolina – 2nd shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM. Contract opportunity paying $24–$26 per hour.
About the Role
Reliance One, Inc. is hiring a Site Coordinator for a trusted client in the manufacturing and industrial-technology space. This customer-site position reports directly to the Site Manager and serves as the primary Reliance One representative, partnering closely with the customer’s manufacturing team to support assembly-tool operations. You will work alongside the customer’s tool-repair specialists, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting expertise, and recommendations to diagnose issues, improve tool performance, and minimize production downtime.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with production, maintenance, and tool-repair teams while serving as the on-site technical resource.
- Provide timely technical support during line disruptions, helping diagnose problems and recommend solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the customer’s tool-repair specialists by assisting with diagnostics, interpreting fault codes, and recommending repair procedures and corrective actions.
- Assist with tool installations, configuration, software updates, and optimization to ensure equipment performs reliably and efficiently.
- Recommend maintenance best practices, monitor tool health, and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Keep customers informed, coordinate with internal Reliance One teams when additional support is needed, and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, troubleshooting processes, and overall customer support.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data-collection systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical schematics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with networking and database systems.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, and technical teams.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with schedule flexibility as operational demands require.
