Job Title: Part-Time Site Coordinator Reports To: Director of School-Based Programs Location: KIPP Global Kids Sites Schedule: Part-Time (25-28 Hours, Monday–Friday) Position Summary: The Part-Time Site Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the KIPP Global Kids afterschool program. This individual serves as the on-site leader, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students. They will co-supervise Group Leaders, design and facilitate student workshops tailored to grade-level engagement, and serve as the primary liaison between school stakeholders and the program. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership & Supervision Serve as the on-site point person for all program operations and logistics. Co-supervise Group Leaders, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality student engagement. Monitor staff performance and assist with scheduling, attendance, and coverage needs. Student Engagement & Workshop Facilitation Design and facilitate interactive, age-appropriate workshops that align with student interests and developmental needs. Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum and enrichment activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and creativity. Stakeholder Communication Act as the primary on-site contact for school administrators, teachers, and families. Maintain open and professional communication with school stakeholders to ensure alignment with school culture and expectations. Address and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively, escalating concerns when necessary. Administrative & Operational Support Ensure compliance with program policies, safety procedures, and attendance tracking. Support data collection and reporting efforts related to student participation and program outcomes. Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and site cleanliness. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years' experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or youth development setting. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to design and lead engaging workshops and activities. Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices. Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative spirit. Preferred Skills: Experience in curriculum development or enrichment programming. Familiarity with KIPP or similar charter school environments. Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus.
