Site Coordinator

About This Role

Southington-Cheshire Community YMCAs in Cheshire, CT is hiring a Site Coordinator to oversee early childhood education programming. This leadership role requires completed early childhood education college credits and offers $18 – $19.50/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site staff
• Monitor and supervise children's activities
• Ensure the safety of all children
• Manage children's behavior using positive reinforcement
• Plan and implement varied age-appropriate activities
• Follow all YMCA policies and OEC licensing standards
• Communicate with parents as needed
• Be a positive role model

Requirements

• Must be 20 years or older
• Qualified Candidate must be certified or qualified for a CT OEC Head Teacher’s Certification
• Have previous experience working with children
• Works effectively with children, families and other staff
• Possess good oral communication, written communication, public speaking and organizational skills
• Nice to have: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Medication Administration Certification

Schedule

• Part Time - Monday - Friday or 3 days per week am and/or pm
• Before Care - 6:30am- 9:00am
• After Care - 2:15 - 6:00pm or 3:00pm - 6:00pm
