About the role
Site Assessment Leaders are the liaison between Accountability, Research & Evaluation (ARE) and the school. They are responsible for facilitating and implementing district assessments, providing communication and training to school staff regarding assessment procedures, and serving as a primary contact for the district assessment department.
Responsibilities
- Receive and distribute assessment materials including tests, teacher guides, and assessment results;
- Collections tests and portfolios to send for scoring;
- Communicate to appropriate staff definitions, timelines, etc. for completing assessment activities and compiling data;
- Aid teachers, principals and counselors with questions, problems, and concerns regarding the assessment process;
- Know the administration procedures of each test; establish testing schedules; coordinate room locations for testing and identification of students to be tested;
- Takes responsibility for checking in materials, monitoring and certifying accuracy of assessment materials sent to the school;
- Collect, ensure and inventory assessment materials for accuracy prior to shipment and pickup;
- Maintain and keep appropriate records and documentations of all inventory, process test orders;
- Cookordinate the administration of federal, state and required district assessments and surveys;
- Assume an assessment leadership role at the school and represent the school at required in-services;
- Serve as primary contact to work with the district assessment department;
- Promote appropriate and ethical assessment practices within the district;
- Investigate, resolve and notify principal and testing center when irregularities;
- Keep records of staff attendance at assessment in-services;
- Provide communication and training to school staff regarding procedures for assessments;
- Administer and plan for assessment needs such as preparation of resources and testing materials;
- Communicate assessment and survey information with school and district staff;
- Utilize assessment resources to provide training and information to staff as needed.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree, required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

$23.59 - $28.30 per hour.
