Shuttle Driver/Houseperson

About the Role

Transport guests to and from the hotel within a 5-mile radius and to the airport, assist with guest luggage, and provide information about the hotel and surrounding areas. Perform daily houseperson duties.

Training will be 24 hours per week with varied shifts. Typical shifts include 5am–3pm or 3pm–11pm.

Responsibilities

• Transport hotel guests to and from the hotel (within a 5-mile radius) and the airport
• Display a positive, upbeat attitude and work well with people
• Maintain property security, key control procedures, and fire safety procedures
• Complete daily shuttle checklist for each shift
• Perform houseperson duties, including but not limited to maintaining public areas and assisting with housekeeping

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability and strong guest relation skills
• Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 5 years of licensed driving experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record
• Acceptable background check
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or fingers, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Talk and hear
• Close vision to a computer screen
