About the Role
Drive a shuttle vehicle on GBMC’s campus on fixed routes, on-demand, and other transport-related services. Provide patients and visitors with knowledge and assistance in wayfinding and organizational information to ensure timely arrival to their destinations. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and reporting in accordance with departmental policy and procedure. Assist with event parking when needed.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge, greet, and welcome patients/visitors
- Assist patients/visitors with valet needs
- Ensure vehicle is maintained and cleaned daily
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Clarify parking rates and valet procedures to patients and visitors
- Perform daily collection and categorization of parking ticket transactions
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures
- Report any accidents to the manager on duty
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of working experience and one year of driving experience
- Valid Driver’s license (must be maintained throughout employment)
- CPR Certification within 90 days of employment (must be maintained throughout employment)

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds
Working Conditions
- Ability to work and drive in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, and snow)

Pay
Pay Range: $17.13 - $21.69. Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, and alignment with organizational needs.
