Shuttle Driver/Houseperson

About the role

Transport guests to and from the hotel within a 5-mile radius of hotels and to the airport, assist with guest luggage, and provide information about the hotel and surrounding areas. Daily duties include houseperson tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transport hotel guests to and from the hotel within a 5-mile radius and to the airport
• Display a positive, upbeat attitude and work well with people
• Maintain property security and key control procedures, as well as fire safety procedures
• Complete daily shuttle checklist for each shift
• Perform houseperson duties, including maintaining public areas and assisting with housekeeping

Schedule

Training will be 24 hours per week with varied shifts. Typical shifts include 5:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability
• Guest relation skills
• Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must have attained the age of 21
• A minimum of 5 years of licensed driving experience
• A valid driver’s license
• An acceptable driving record
• An acceptable background check

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or fingers, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Talk and hear
• Vision abilities include close vision to a computer screen
